The Tenley Campus is located at the intersection of Wisconsin and Nebraska Avenues, one short block from the AU-Tenleytown Metro Station. This location will give the legal community, business leaders, government officials, and alumni better access to the law school while providing students with a direct connection to the heart of Washington, D.C. No shuttle necessary!
Dear AUWCL Community,
I am pleased to share with you a brief update on the Tenley Campus construction – we are seeing significant progress! As some of you may be aware, you can now watch the construction/demolition through a 24 hour live feed. One of the last standing current buildings, Congressional, is scheduled for demolition early next week. Look for the “Big Dig” to start in the middle of next month.
This is an important time in the history of Washington College of Law and I look forward to sending additional updates about Tenley Campus construction throughout the year.
Claudio Grossman,
Dean
American University Washington College of Law broke ground on a new home at the historic Tenley Campus in a ceremony held Wednesday, June 12, hosted by AU President Cornelius Kerwin and Dean Claudio Grossman. More than 200 students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the law school were in attendance. The eight-acre Tenley Campus site will provide a permanent home for AUWCL and enhance its rich tradition of innovation, excellence, and passion for the rule of law in the U.S. and beyond.
