New Year Holds Many Changes for Tenley Campus

Dear AUWCL Community,

I wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all a great start to the semester as well as update you on the Tenley Campus construction. This new year will be an exciting one for our community. We will have many highlights to share with you about the construction of our new home. Here are a few recent updates:

  • Construction SiteThe excavation of the Tenley site is 40% done, and is expected to be complete by early March. In addition, the foundation of the new structures will be poured beginning in February. By mid-April, new buildings will begin to be visible above ground.
  • The historic Capital Hall, which will serve as both the administrative and student centers of the law school, has been prepared for new flooring and other improvements.
  • More than 150 trucks of soil are moved per day from the construction site to be reused and recycled at other locations in the D.C. metro area.

I hope that you will visit our Tenley 2015 news page often for the latest photos and news about this game-changing opportunity for our community. You can also watch the progress unfold online via our live construction webcam.

Best wishes for a great 2014!

Claudio Grossman,
