Instructional Support
- Information Literacy Instruction

Our librarians can provide tailored instruction sessions and other services to develop students' information literacy and research skills.
- Place materials on Course Reserve

Instructors can request reserve materials by using the Library Course Reserves management system (Ares) in Canvas. All reserve materials must adhere to the University's copyright policies.
- Course Design

If you are just starting with your course, the CTRL Teaching Consultation Service can help you with the initial planning stages. If you have your course content worked out and need help presenting it in Canvas, contact the instructional designer in your department. If you are already building your course and have Canvas questions, contact Canvas support in the Library.

- Evidence Sysnthesis Service

AU Library provides a consultation service for evidence synthesis projects. This means we're available to help with the following:
- Understand the processes and steps involved
- Determine if there are existing reviews on a topic
- Develop and/or refine a topic
- Develop and help register a protocol
- Discuss search strategies
- Identify relevant databases
- Review search techniques, such as Boolean and proximity operators
At this point, we are not able to assist with developing and executing searches, documenting search strategies, or producing a written version of search methods for the manuscript.
