Tenley Campus Opens for Students
On Jan. 11, 2016, the first day of the spring semester, American University Washington College of Law students returned to law school to begin classes at the shiny Tenley Campus. The day kicked off with a t-shirt giveaway and coffee and bagels at The Commons, one of the collaborative student areas. For many, it was the first time at the new building, which involved a lot of exploring and excitement about the new space’s accessibility and bright classrooms. On Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, American University Washington College of Law's students, faculty, and staff began the spring semester at the law school's new Tenley Campus. Faculty and Staff Offices Begin Relocating to Tenley Campus
The first out of four groups of faculty and staff at American University Washington College of Law have begun moving into their new workspace at Tenley Campus. War Crimes Research Office, the Academy on Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, the Project on Addressing Prison Rape, the Office of Special Events and Continuing Legal Education, as well as some teams of the Office of Technology and Facilities Management are among the inaugural group.
